Patrick is an experienced mass tort litigator who has spent over a decade fighting against some of the largest companies in the world. Since 2015, he has handled cases across the country involving defective products — including vehicles, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and cosmetics.

Patrick has represented thousands of people in both federal and state courts in complex and high-stakes cases. Notably, Patrick has significant experience in federal multidistrict litigation, including in the following MDLs (two of the largest in U.S. history):

• Johnson & Johnson Talcum Powder, MDL No. 2738: Patrick served as a key member of the bellwether selection, discovery, law & briefing, science and bellwether trial teams from inception of the MDL all the way to the final stage of resolution. Patrick's contributions to the leadership team helped see asbestos-laced talcum powder pulled off the market globally, expert witnesses pass Daubert twice over unprecedented opposition by Defendants, and plaintiffs succeed in defeating J&J's three efforts to avoid and reduce liability through sham bankruptcies.

• Hair Relaxer, MDL No. 3060: Patrick was appointed by the court to the Leadership Development Committee and went on to serve as a member of the bellwether selection and science teams. Patrick worked to develop multiple expert witnesses through reports and depositions, including preparing experts for Science Day presentations to the court. Patrick also took the deposition of one of the Defendant's most significant general causation expert witnesses and contributed to the briefing of the affirmative and defensive Daubert motions filed in the case.
